All 42 H-2A petitions filed by employers classified under the Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation industry located in the Ocala Standard publication area were approved in 2024, as per data provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-2A Employer Data Hub.

Of the 579 H-2A petitions filed by the employers classified under the Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing and Hunting industry located in Ocala Standard publication area, 471 were approved in 2024, as per data provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-2A Employer Data Hub.

There were more than 130 bank failures across the country from 2012 to 2025, one of which occurred in Marion County.
