Rep. Kat Cammack, a U.S. Congress member representing Florida’s 3rd District since 2021, has expressed her views on various political and local issues through social media. Cammack replaced Ted Yoho and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. She is originally from Denver, Colorado, and now resides in Gainesville.
On April 23, 2025, Cammack shared her concerns about the Democratic Party’s support for deported criminals, stating, “Democrats can’t help themselves when it comes to selling out their constituents in favor of deported criminals. It’s heartbreaking to see story after story of families’ lives forever altered and people still pushing back against President Trump’s efforts to right these wrongs.”
The following day, April 24, 2025, she appeared on the Faulkner Focus, criticizing members of Congress for allegedly prioritizing non-citizens over those who fund their positions. She remarked, “You have representatives in Congress that are basically creating the MS-13 caucus, going to bat for illegals over the people who paid their salaries is infuriating,”
In a separate post on April 24, 2025, Cammack highlighted her meeting with AT&T of North Florida to discuss internet connectivity projects in Gainesville, stressing that “Connectivity remains a top priority for our office with all providers in our region.” This meeting focused on expanding fiber to areas previously underserved.
Kat Cammack, born in 1988, has been committed to advancing the services and priorities of her district. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015.
