On May 8, 2025, the office congratulated the new Pope with a tweet: “Congratulations to the new Pope, Pope Leo XIV! What an exciting time to have the first-ever American Pope! “.
The following day, May 9, 2025, they expressed gratitude towards military spouses by stating: “Thank you to all of our amazing military spouses!”.
Later that same day, another tweet celebrated local student artists from a recent event: “Some great photos from our 2025 Congressional Art Competition celebration in Newberry this past weekend! Thanks to all of our amazing students, parents, and teachers for showing off our students’ great work! Our announcement on winners to come! “.
Kat Cammack has been serving in the U.S. Congress since replacing Ted Yoho in 2021. She represents Florida’s 3rd district and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Denver in 1988 and currently residing in Gainesville, she graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BA in 2015.
