Marion County Public Library System to Extend Hours of Service at Some Branch Locations

The Marion County Public Library System announced today that it will expand its evening hours of service until 7 p.m. Monday – Thursday at its Headquarters-Ocala, Belleview, Dunnellon and Freedom Public library locations, effective March 11. Friday hours will be 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday hours 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and closed on Sundays. At this time, there will be no changes to the hours of service at the other public library locations.

During the summer, the library system will provide opportunities for the public to offer feedback regarding service hours through surveys and social media efforts.
