On Saturday, March 22, former North Marion High School standout Jacob Phillips’ current college team, the Georgia Southern Eagles, won 14-13 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

The game took place at J. I. Clements Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at J. I. Clements Stadium against Appalachian State Mountaineers.
