On Friday, Feb. 14, former North Marion High School standout Jacob Phillips’ current college team, the Georgia Southern Eagles, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Carolina Catamounts.

The game took place at J. I. Clements Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Catamounts this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at J. I. Clements Stadium against Western Carolina Catamounts.
