On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former North Marion High School standout Jacob Phillips’ current college team, the Georgia Southern Eagles, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers.

The game took place at J. I. Clements Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. at Jim Perry Stadium against Campbell Fighting Camels.
