The following day, December 13, Rep. Cammack extended birthday wishes to the U.S. National Guard via social media, expressing gratitude for their service and dedication to defending the nation. “Happy birthday to the @USNationalGuard! Thank you for being Always Ready, Always There to serve and defend our nation.”

Later that same day, Rep. Cammack made a statement regarding alleged partisan actions by federal agencies during an appearance on “The Evening Edit.” She claimed that members of Congress and staffers were subject to spying as retaliation by certain factions within the FBI who had been caught engaging in misconduct. “Simply put, it’s retaliation. It’s retaliation because the D.C. swamp creatures, particularly at the FBI, have been caught red-handed,” says @RepKatCammack of partisan DOJ spying on Kash Patel, Members of Congress, and congressional staffers on last night’s @EveningEdit.
