Rep. Kat Cammack, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 3rd district, shared several updates via her press office’s Twitter account over two days in early May 2025. The tweets highlight her engagement with local business leaders and legislative initiatives aimed at promoting economic growth and consumer protection.

On May 5, 2025, Rep. Cammack participated in a “Coffee & Commerce” event with business leaders from Lake City organized by the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce. She emphasized the hard work of these individuals in making Florida’s 3rd district an ideal place for families and businesses. “Rep. Cammack joined business leaders in Lake City for Coffee & Commerce with Columbia County Chamber of Commerce. These folks work hard to make #FL03 the best place to live, work, and raise a family and it was great spending the morning with them providing updates from D.C.”

Later that day, she acknowledged National Small Business Week by expressing gratitude towards small business owners who contribute significantly to local economies within her district. “It’s National Small Business Week! Please join us in thanking all of the amazing business owners in #FL03 who power our local economies and make a difference in our communities.”

On May 6, 2025, Rep. Cammack introduced new legislation titled the App Store Freedom Act. This bill aims to foster competition and protect consumers by addressing anti-competitive practices within major app store marketplaces operated by Big Tech companies. “This afternoon, Rep. Cammack introduced the App Store Freedom Act, a bill to promote competition and protect consumers.”

Kat Cammack has been serving Florida’s 3rd District since replacing Ted Yoho in 2021 after previously serving in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Denver, Colorado, she graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BA in 2015 and resides in Gainesville.
