City of Ocala issued the following announcement on November 2.
'Santa's Calling' Returns for the Holiday Season
Coordinated by the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department, ‘Santa’s Calling’ returns for the holiday season. This program offers a unique opportunity for children in Ocala/Marion County to talk directly to Santa and Mrs. Claus at the North Pole ahead of the Christmas holiday.
Phone calls will be made Tuesday, Dec. 7 through Thursday, Dec. 9 between 6 and 9 p.m. nightly. Please note, this program is only available for children ages 2 to 13.
Parents/guardians can fill out an application with information about their child’s holiday wish list and other information to make the child’s call from Santa extra special. The application allows participants to choose the date and time frame when they would like the call to take place.
To schedule a call with Santa, fill out the application form at www.ocalafl.org/holidays. Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, November 30.
