Marion County issued the following announcement on November 10.
ALL ADOPTIONS ARE FREE with a donation of a non-perishable, baby care-related, or personal hygiene item!
Adoption includes up-to-date vaccinations, county license, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery.
November is National Adopt a Senior Pet month!
Marigold is a two-year-old, female cat with a grey tabby coat. Her green eyes lure us all into a quick rub behind the ears. Marigold is the purr-fect mix of playful and affectionate. Stop by to meet her with a donation toward our annual food drive, and we’ll waive the adoption fee!
Nona is a three-year-old, female cat with a tortoiseshell coat. Torties are known for their beautiful coats, for their sassy personalities, and their folklore of bringing good luck. Nona’s tortie-tude is all show, she is just as affectionate as her best friend Marigold. In fact, the two of them can be found together at all times!
Eight-year-old Sterling is ready for his furr-ever home. We’re hoping his appearances on social media and TV will finally reach a matching home in time for the holidays. He’s a gorgeous, 85-pound, senior Labrador mixed breed dog. Sterling is quiet, good on a leash, and loves treats. Surely there is someone out there who could love an older dog like our Sterling.
