City of Ocala Municipal Government issued the following announcement on November 18.
Congratulations to Ocala Fiber Network for winning the IDC Governments Insights fourth annual Smart Cities North America Awards (SCNAA).
We are so proud of this department and their dedicated work to bringing reliable broadband services to the residents of Ocala. During the pandemic, OFN helped the county’s rural schools with distance learning, especially families who did not have high-speed internet access, by installing Wi-Fi access points at ten schools.
