City of Ocala: Bring the Harvest Home

City of Ocala recently issued the following announcement.

The Marion County, Florida annual food drive, known as 'Bring the Harvest Home' is currently underway.

Donations will be accepted now through Dec. 3, and will benefit  the Salvation Army, Interfaith Emergency Services and Brother’s Keeper. Items that are needed include canned food, non-perishable dry goods, canned meats, baby items and toiletries.

There are multiple drop-off locations throughout

the county, including the City Hall, 110 SE Watula Ave, all seven Ocala Fire Rescue  stations, and Ocala Police Department. 

Collected items will be brought to the Downtown Square on Dec. 3, 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
