Marion County Comes Together to Accept Donations for Hurricane Ian Relief

Marion County was spared from the worst of Hurricane Ian as it passed over Florida, but this doesn’t mean our state doesn’t need help.

With so many areas devastated by the hurricane, the Marion County Board of County Commissioners, Marion County Fire Rescue, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office are hosting numerous drop-off sites for donations throughout the county.

Donations will be collected through October 22, then representatives from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office will deliver our donations directly to the areas most impacted by the storm.

The following locations will be collecting donations:

  • Marion County Administration, 601 SE 25th Ave., Ocala
  • Marion County Animal Services, 5701 SE 66th St., Ocala
