Due to scheduled runway maintenance, runway 18-36 at the Ocala International Airport will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 7 a.m., during the following:
• 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, through 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26
• 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, through 7 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27
• 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, through 7 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28
• 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, through 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29
• 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, through 7 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30
• 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, through 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31
• 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, through 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1
During this time, the Crosswind Runway, runway 8-26, will be closed nightly beginning Tuesday, Oct. 25 through Nov. 1, 7 p.m.
Aircrews are advised to plan accordingly to accommodate these critical airport infrastructure improvements. During these nightly closures, the airport will be closed to all fixed-winged aircraft. Rotary wing (helicopter) operations will be permitted away from construction areas. During closures, there will be no runway or taxiway lights. Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) will be published on the FAA NOTAM website to publicize the closure to aircrews.
