The City of Ocala will host an additional public meeting about proposed redistricting Thursday, Oct. 27, 6 to 7 p.m. at the MLK First Responders Campus, 505 NW MLK Jr. Ave.
The meeting will cover the proposed redistricting maps, and staff will be available to answer questions. The meeting is free and open to the public.
For individuals unable to or uncomfortable with attending meetings in person, the recorded presentation from Oct. 13 is currently available.
Written comments can be submitted by emailing the Growth Management Department by Nov. 6, 5 p.m. at rfautsch@ocalagfl.org or physically mailing to 201 SE Third St., Second floor, Ocala, FL. 34471. Florida’s Sunshine Laws require all comments submitted to be entered into the public record.
