Ingrid Taylor-Humphrey, a native of Florida, is the artist and creator of The Original Sister Dolls Collection. The collection was created as a representation of the sisterhood of women of color, worldwide. The Original Sister Dolls Collection is inspired by African and African American culture. These one-of-a-kind, fiber art, handmade dolls transcend the superficial boundaries of race and nationality. The uniqueness in design, application of hair and style of dress adornment are some of the traits that give each doll a distinct personality and effect.
