Ocala Standard

City of Ocala business offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26 in observance of Christmas. Additionally, offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, in observance of New Year’s Day. During these business office closures, the residential and commercial sanitation schedule will be as follows:  

• Dec. 19 - 23, all routes normal.
• Dec. 26 - 30, residential sanitation and Waste Pro recycling routes will experience a one-day delay and run Tuesday through Friday. Commercial sanitation routes will be collected as regularly scheduled.
• Jan. 2 - 6, residential sanitation and Waste Pro recycling routes will experience a one-day delay and run Tuesday through Friday. Commercial sanitation routes will be collected as regularly scheduled.

The SunTran bus system will have reduced hours of operation the following days:

• Saturday, Dec. 24, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday, Dec. 31, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day, SunTran will be closed for operations Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2.
