Motorists can expect temporary lane closures in the westbound travel lane of S.W. Hwy. 484, from I-75 to one-tenth of a mile west of S.W. 20th Avenue Road, between the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., from January 22 through January 27.
RIPA & Associates, LLC’s subcontractor will be will be working on the north side of S.W. Hwy. 484 in the vicinity of the S.W. 20th Ave. Rd. intersection, installing turn lanes and relocating signal poles. Work will also include an eastbound separator. Equipment and personnel will be in the County right-of-way.
Crews will place barricades and signs to direct traffic through the work zones. Travelers should expect delays and use alternate routes when possible. Adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules. For more information, contact the Office of the County Engineer at 352-671-8686.
