On Sunday, Feb. 23, former North Marion High School standout Jacob Phillips’ current college team, the Georgia Southern Eagles, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the South Florida Bulls.
The game took place at J. I. Clements Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bulls this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. at J. I. Clements Stadium against Charleston Cougars.
