OCALA, Fla. (Jan. 25, 2023) – SE 17th Street, from SE 18th Ave. to SE 22nd Ave., is now open to through traffic following repairs for a sewer force main break.

Eastbound and westbound lanes are currently open and traffic patterns have returned to normal.

OCALA, Fla. (Jan. 24, 2023) – Due to an air release valve breaking on a force main, both eastbound lanes on SE 17th St., from SE 18th Ave. to SE 22nd Ave. have been closed, effective immediately. Traffic traveling on SE 17th St. has been reduced to one lane going east and one lane going west. The spill has been contained and the duration of repairs is uncertain.

During this time, there may be potential odors, dust, and noise around the area. Residents should also be advised of slow traffic patterns and potential detours in the area. All necessary devices will be in place to re-direct traffic.
