Motorists can expect a temporary road closure on N.E. 42nd Place, from the N.E. 27th Court intersection to the N.E. 30th Court intersection, starting at 7 a.m. August 29 through September 5.
Marion County Utilities’ contractor, Commercial Industrial Corp., will be modifying a manhole to operate in conjunction with a new lift station. Equipment and personnel will be in the County right-of-way.
The work zone will be open to local traffic only. Crews will place barricades and signs to detour traffic around the work zones. Travelers should expect delays and use alternate routes when possible. Adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules. For more information, contact the Office of the County Engineer at 352-671-8686.
