Today was the official ribbon cutting for Oak Valley apartments.
Oak Valley is a partnership between Housing Trust Group (HTG) and non-profit AM Affordable Housing Inc., an organization founded by former Miami Heat champion and NBA Hall of Famer Alonzo Mourning.
This affordable housing community for seniors was created for residents 62 and older who earn 40% and 60% of the local area median income (AMI). This garden-style community delivers a mix of 66 one-bedroom apartments and 30 two-bedroom apartments.
The City of Ocala is proud to have affordable living options for senior residents and appreciates HTG and AM Affordable Housing, Inc. for choosing to serve the residents of Ocala.
