Motorists can expect a temporary road closure on C.R. 314A from N.E. 17th Place to N.E. 14th Street Road, beginning Friday, October 28 at 5:00 p.m. through Sunday, October 30 at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Anderson Columbia will be removing and installing storm pipe under the existing roadway. The roadway will be impassable until after the new pipe is installed and the roadway is reconstructed. Workers and equipment will be located in the County Right-of-Way.
C.R. 314A will be passable to local traffic only up to the pipe construction area. Traffic will not be able to pass over the construction area.
Anderson Columbia is doing this work for the Marion County Board of County Commissioners as one of the sales tax resurfacing projects.
Crews will place barricades and signs to detour traffic around the work zones. Travelers should expect delays and use alternate routes when possible. Adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules. For more information, contact the Office of the County Engineer at 352-671-8686.
