During the scheduled Ocala City Council workshop held Tuesday, Nov. 8, City Council requested additional public meetings about the proposed redistricting.
The City of Ocala will host two public meetings about proposed redistricting Wednesday, Nov. 16, 5:30 p.m. at Lillian Bryant Community Center, 2200 NW 17th Place and Thursday, Nov. 17, 7:30 a.m. at the Ocala Golf Club, 3130 E Silver Springs Blvd., as part of the Building Community Roundtable agenda.
The meeting will cover the proposed redistricting maps, and staff will be available to answer questions. The meetings are free and open to the public.
For individuals unable to or uncomfortable with attending meetings in person, the recorded presentation from Oct. 13 is currently available.
